I. Introduction to the Ceramic Protective Sleeve for Vertical Mill Roller Shaft: 

The operating conditions inside the vertical mill cylinder are highly complex; the processed materials consist of particles with varying sizes and hardness, which move at high temperatures and high speeds within the mill cylinder, continuously subjecting various structural components of the medium-speed mill, such as the roller sleeves, to friction, erosion, and impact. 
 
Taking the actual operating conditions of the roller shaft protective sleeve in a Loesche 56.4 raw meal mill as an example, the mill outlet air volume is generally 650,000–750,000 m³/h, the internal mill ventilation volume is >300 m³/min, and the mill inlet temperature is 240°C; according to our company’s over 20 years of anti-wear experience, many companies currently use 8mm+6mm composite wear-resistant steel plates for their roller shaft sleeves, but due to large material particles and the presence of tramp metal such as iron nails and screws, the wear on the roller shaft sleeve is exceptionally severe, typically failing due to abrasion after only 8 months of use.

Specifically, this involves securing dovetail-shaped ceramics to the steel structure of the vertical mill, filling the space between the wear-resistant ceramics and the steel plate with high-temperature resistant inorganic adhesive, utilizing a zero-gap design between the ceramics, and employing a 360° staggered bonding and fixing process where the gaps are mutually offset; this results in a smooth surface with vastly enhanced reliability and impact resistance, effectively guaranteeing a 10-fold extension in the service life of the roller sleeve.
